Pope (TH-E-POPE) comes bringing the vocal sounds of the universal language to San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Specializing in music for all occasions and is a one-man-band available for your listening pleasure—quick setup, limited space required, enabling more client satisfaction. Ideal for your brunch easy listening, family gatherings, corporate, and mature gatherings. The "POPE" is also available for singing songs without sound reinforcement.
Training and Practice
The know-how, practice, time spent in the mirror (Matthew 7:1-5p.1522) and wisdom of Thomas E. Pope as an entertainer has been captivating and I’ve come to understand you are not the best, most famous, most lovable or the most handsome…however you can be amongst the Best of the Best and in my belief accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, having faith (Romans 10:17p.1842) as a follower and doer of God’s Word (John 1:1-3p.1694) I no longer require a daysman (Job 9:33p.840) but one mediator the Man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5p.1966). I am a child of God, therefore an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:16-17p.1836) thus making me a partaker of Christ! (Hebrews 3:14p.1989). Praise God!
As an instrumentalist and/or vocalist now, the “POPE” Sings the Universal Language, I was blessed to practice at The Jazz Workshop, with the musical group The Street Corner Symphony on the Presidio of San Francisco and other music jazz settings in San Francisco from Broadway to Union, Lombard to Divisadero in learning bebop and the free expression of jazz and blues (the introduction to the Fake Book). The Cave in Heidelberg, The Quasimodo in Berlin, Germany, The Blues Corner in Amsterdam, Holland, and Ronnie Scotts in England to name only a few. These are some great musical landmarks for the artist to practice their craft if....you are sincere and fortunate to visit. The Boerne City Center during Dickens' On Main and the 2015 OpenTable Diner's Choice winner Camp Verde General Store Restaurant, the Republic of Texas Restaurant in Texas.
My military experience as a musician has afforded me the opportunities to perform for the disabled veterans, the homeless in San Francisco after the earthquake in 1989 during the Bay to Bay World Series, American presidents, military dignitaries, general officers, numerous dignitaries of all nationalities and ages. I look forward to the opportunity of representing your thoughts through musical interpretation.
